From the 1st of June parents and carers of children and young people with special educational needs and disability in Surrey, can access online support for emotional wellbeing from Qwell. Qwell is free to use, confidential and requires no referral to access. Qwell offers parent/carers one-to-one online text chat counselling sessions, with trained counsellors. The service is available from 12 noon to 10pm Monday to Friday and 6pm to 10pm at weekends, 365 days a year.
Kooth is a FREE online counselling service and emotional well-being platform for young people aged between 11-18.
Childline is a FREE on the phone or online service for young people to talk about anything that is concerning them.
NSPCC – Advice on keeping your children safe online.
CEOP is an online service that help keep children and young people safe from sexual abuse and grooming online.
Chat Health is a text service for anyone aged 11-19 at secondary school looking for confidential advice on a wide range of issues such as bullying, emotional health and wellbeing, sexual health as well as illnesses.
